Stone Schnauzers is dedicated to breeding small numbers of strong, intelligent miniature and giant schnauzers. Striving to produce dogs that best meet the criteria for the breed standard; preserving the "working dog intellect" and structure.

We ask that you do not support PETA or other radical animal  rights activest .Their true agenda is the elimination of  domesticated animals. That means your pet too.

Across the Nation laws promoted by PETA are being enacted to restrict your right to own a dog. Not the normal rabies registration fees! This is hundreds of dollars to own a dog and strict limits on how many you may have. If you have an intact dog the fees can reach $1,500. You are now clasified a breeder subject to criminal background checks. You may also be required to relocate in to areas deemed "agricultural"

Help us fight this form of regulation with out  a vote, or say, as to what is being done .

We do not sell to retailers,  second partys or breeders. Show homes considered on individual merrit.We prefer to meet buyers and place the pups according to the owners needs and that of the puppy. Our temperament testing aids in the determination of placement. We strive to work with our owners to help them provide great homes for their dogs. Happy owners make happy dogs.  

 Our breeding programs are carefully planned and thought out. Medical data is compiled and ancestry carefully considered..Years of breeding experience  go into the decisions made here. We have an average of one litter a year. Puppies are not sold younger that 10 weeks of age. Giants can go to their new home after 6 weeks of age if ear cropping is desired.

Quality does not just happen! Years of careful artisan breeding and a real concern for quality make the differance.

We are making an effort to provide the finest breeding avaliable. The emphasis is to provide healthy, loving dogs with correct conformation for show and great temperaments for pets.  After all, after the dogs are shown they are our extended family members.  Stone schnauzers is not a volume producer. Puppies take careful planning and gentle handling so as not to influence their personalities negatively. Each stage of development has it's own requirement. Experience helps! 
 

 Puppies sold as companions are sold on  spay/neuter agreement. A fenced yard is a requirement for buyers as well as being a good care giver. You will be asked for references and vet preference.  We allow Pick up only- No shipping please. 

The schnauzer kennels are clean and neat and provides a comfortable home like environment.The indoor runs are in our living area. Lots of hugs and kisses are enjoyed by all. We have a large exercise yard and every dog has an opportunity to run each day. I have been a show groomer for many years and enjoy giving baths and hair cuts. I call it the "Buty Shop" for it is a full body hair salon.
